Open Positions:

Production Associate I

Description: Participates in duties associated with manufacturing of hg8868皇冠国际 tissue models according to SOPs where applicable. May also perform duties assigned under Laboratory Assistant as needed.

Reporting structure:  Works under the direction of more senior Associates and the Laboratory Supervisor/Manager.  Reports directly to the Laboratory Supervisor/Manager or Scientist/Senior Scientist.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare media and supplements
  • Trypsinize and count cells
  • Feed tissues and cells using sterile technique and attention to detail
  • Package tissues for shipping
  • Ship product –pack shipping boxes, and ensure contents are consistent with MAOs

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or equivalent with no previous work experience or Associate’s degree in Biology or equivalent with 2+ years of hands-on cell culture experience
  • Basic knowledge of mammalian cell culture
  • Basic knowledge of aseptic technique
  • Incumbent employee who has advanced from the Laboratory Assistant role

Associate Scientist / Research Associate

hg8868皇冠国际 Life Sciences, the leading manufacturer of 3D human tissues, has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Research Associate or Associate Scientist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Culture cells used for internal R&D and/or contract studies
  • Independently perform experiments & assays and analyze data under the direction of the Study Director
  • Critically think about the experiment/assay being performed to fully understand the study objective
  • Independently troubleshoot assays
  • Maintain accurate records in the study notebook according to established SOPs
  • Reports directly to the Study director

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in biology or equivalent with 2+ years or Bachelor’s degree in Biology or equivalent with 5+ years of hands-on cell culture experience and aseptic technique
  • Expertise in Molecular Biology (DNA/RNA isolation/quantification, qPCR); Biochemistry (ELISA/Multiplex cytokine analysis, Western Blot, etc.); Immunohistochemistry and Fluorescent Microscopy
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, able to perform the above tasks routinely and enjoy working in a team environment

Graphic Design Specialist

hg8868皇冠国际 Life Sciences, a dynamic biotech company outside of Boston, has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Graphic Design Specialist to join our team!

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing and overseeing the use of the brand and its elements across hg8868皇冠国际 US and hg8868皇冠国际 Europe, and any other domestic and international branches that hg8868皇冠国际 opens or acquires.
  • Creation and publication of all marketing materials in line with brand and sales objectives (Design, layout and photography for hg8868皇冠国际 product catalogs and other items like data sheets, application notes, mailings, business cards, brochures, etc.)
  • Working with other team members on development of campaigns for email and social media including photography, graphic design, and layout.
  • Developing creative content for social media including photography, custom graphics, animation and video.
  • Developing creative content for presentations and posters. (i.e. scientific poster templates, enhanced figures, dynamic presentations for talks with custom artwork and animation.)
  • Designing and managing tradeshow booths and materials.
  • Identifying opportunities for promotional items for trade shows and meetings.
  • Managing the creative aspect of email marketing with photography, layout and graphic design of marketing emails.
  • Product packaging and labels design.
  • Working with team members to continually refresh elements of the website.
  • Assisting with updates, maintenance, and optimization of hg8868皇冠国际 website and online store

Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or related field
